BENGALURU: A 54-year-old man, beaten up by his neighbours for raising objection to loud music on Sunday, succumbed to injuries on Tuesday at Vignan Nagar in HAL police limits.
Lloyd Nehemiah, younger brother of Colonel David Nehemiah, currently serving in Kashmir, was beaten up by three youths, before police rushed to his rescue. A complaint was filed at HAL police station and all three accused were arrested.

The accused - identified as Ram Samanth Rai, Basudev Samanth Rai and Abhishek Singh - are techies aged between 26 and 30 years. They had reportedly assaulted Lloyd, his sister and two other neighbours. Following the gruesome attack, Lloyd's ailing mother had to be moved to ICU as she began choking.
While the mother was still in hospital, Lloyd, who had sustained serious injuries, was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after he went into a deep shock.
Colonel David Nehemiah told TOI: "It looks like he had internal injuries and died of them."
The colonel lamented that it was most unfortunate that his brother had to pay with his life for simply asking his neighbours to lower the volume of the music. He said he would take up the issue with the authorities as his family sought justice. After the assault, Lloyd had told TOI that the techies stayed right opposite his house. Around 4.30am, he stepped out and asked the accused to lower the volume.
He said he had warned the youths at least thrice earlier as well.
However, instead of lowering the volume, the youths confronted Lloyd, dared him to come out of his house and kept abusing him. They attacked him as soon as he stepped out.
When his sister rushed out to rescue Lloyd, she too was assaulted.
Alerted by the neighbours, a Hoysala team rushed to the spot and escorted the family members to safety, before chasing the youths away.
